La France ChicTerms and Conditions
1. Purpose
These terms govern bookings made directly with PJLX for accommodation offered under the La France Chic brand. The essential features of the stay, price, dates, maximum occupancy and any special conditions are provided to the guest before the booking is confirmed.
2. Booking
A booking becomes binding once the guest has accepted the applicable conditions and made the payment or deposit required under the terms displayed at the time of booking. Specific booking conditions supplement these Terms and prevail in the event of any inconsistency.
3. Prices and payment
Prices are stated in euros, including all applicable taxes. The total amount due, payment schedule, any tourist tax and optional services are specified before confirmation. The guest agrees to use a valid and authorised payment method.
4. Security deposit
A security deposit or card pre-authorisation may be required where provided for in the specific booking conditions. Its amount and terms are disclosed before the contract is concluded. Subject to applicable law, it may be used to cover outstanding sums or damage attributable to the guest.
5. Cancellation and changes
The cancellation, amendment and refund conditions are those presented before the booking is confirmed. They may vary according to the accommodation, dates, selected rate or booking channel. Requests should be sent promptly using the contact details below.
6. Stay and use of the property
The guest agrees to respect the maximum occupancy, communicated times, neighbours, equipment, safety rules and any house rules applicable to the property. The premises must be used peacefully and for their intended purpose.
7. Guest liability
The guest is responsible for damage, loss or deterioration caused by the guest or persons for whom the guest is responsible during the stay, subject to applicable law. Any incident or malfunction should be reported promptly.
8. PJLX liability
PJLX is responsible for the proper performance of its contractual obligations as provided by law. It cannot, however, be held liable where non-performance results from force majeure, the guest's actions, or an unforeseeable and unavoidable act of a third party to the contract.
9. Complaints and mediation
Complaints should first be sent to PJLX with a view to reaching an amicable solution: contact@lafrancechic.com — +33 6 87 14 96 77.
After a prior written complaint to PJLX and if no amicable solution is reached, consumers may use the competent consumer mediator free of charge: CM2C – Centre de la Médiation de la Consommation de Conciliateurs de Justice, 49 rue de Ponthieu, 75008 Paris.
